WHEN? Sunday, March 13, 2011. 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (guaranteed) for the UNDER-1500 event
1:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (guaranteed) for the OVER-1000 event
WHERE? Mississauga Rattlers Club, Woodlands Secondary School, 3225 Erindale Station Rd, at McBride, Mississauga, Ontario (south entrance, near parking lot).
WHO? Anyone, regardless of rating or affiliation. Rating decisions will be made by the tournament officials (referee Sandy Chu or substitute), based on the latest ratings, when available (or estimates, otherwise).
COST? $25 per event (+ $5 rating fee) for OTTA, FTTQ, USATT and other affiliated members. (+ $10 for unaffiliated participants, who can avoid the surcharge by joining OTTA on site).
SANCTIONED TOURNAMENT? Yes, results will count towards official CTTA ratings.
HOW? Successive round robins on 14 tables. All matches 3 out of 5 (11-point) games. White balls.

9:00 a.m. 1:30 p.m. Warm-up and registration
9:30 2:00 ROUND #1. 12 groups of 3 players, to determine groups A, B, C
10:45 3:15 ROUND #2. 4 groups of 3 in each of A, B and C, to determine Al, A2, A3, B1,
B2, B3, Cl, C2 and C3 subgroups.
12:00 4:30 ROUND #3. 9 groups of 4 players to determine final standings
1:30 6:00 Award ceremony
PRIZES: Event Over 1000 Under-1500 Total over $1100 in prize money
Rank 1st 2nd 3rd 1st 2nd 3rd First place only in all other subgroups: $30
A1 subgroup $200 100 50 $100 50 30 (trophy substitution available on request)
DEADLINE: Entries must be received by Wednesday, March 9, 2011. In THIS tournament, registration will close when maximum participation is reached (72 players, i.e.36 in each event). E-mail or telephone reservations, followed by payment on site, will only be considered AFTER the deadline, IF there is any space left in the draws, and they will be accepted only with a $5 surcharge.
